What is IPTV?

IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) is television delivered over an internet connection instead of through an aerial, a satellite dish or a cable network. This guide explains how it works, what you need and how to choose a service.

How IPTV works

The provider sends video as data over the internet. An app on your TV, streaming stick, phone or computer receives that data and plays it. Because it uses your broadband connection, picture quality depends on the speed and stability of that connection rather than on signal reception.

What IPTV services usually offer

IPTV Subscribe provides access to more than 30,000 international TV channels, plus movies, TV series, sports and children’s entertainment, including the latest available films and series.

Choosing a legitimate service

Legitimate IPTV services hold licences for the content they distribute. Before subscribing to any service, check who runs it, how to contact them, what you are paying for and what their refund and privacy terms say.
